HERKOMST: Somontano (AragĂłn): Nestled in the foothills of the Pyrenees mountain range, in Somontano, the Las Bas vineyards are some of the northernmost in Spain. Located at 1,300 feet above sea level, the winery is a beautiful meeting of traditional and modern.
VITICULTUUR:
âđNight harvest in early September.
VINIFICATIE:
đ· Cold fermentation for 48 hours. Malolactic fermentation in concrete tanks.
âAged on own lees in new French oak barrels for three months. Additional 9 months of aging in concrete tanks.
DEGUSTATIE:
đ Ruby red wine with dark violet hues.
đ Clean aromas of well-balanced fruit with spicy notes..
đ Soft, broad mouth with good structure and a long, fruit forward finish.
